2. Open an Image

When you draw a shape, you can change the line width by using the menu bar at the bottom of the Tools window.

Mapping returning a List(Of Map)

I have the following Data Model
Public class Product
Public Property ProductName As String
Public Property Category As New List(Of Category)
End Class

Public Class Category
Public Property CategoryName As String
Public Property Products As New List(Of Product)
End Class

I am now trying to map this out to use EF through an Entity Framework DbContext.
However, the Product Manager returns a List(Of Map) and I am struggling as this is not supported directly by EF.
If I was using native SQL I would just create a Stored Procedure with the following signature
— @SQL
SELECT id, name, (
SELECT category_name, product_id
FROM products_category
WHERE = products.product_id
FROM products

Does anyone have a clue how I can map this out to EF?

The schema you are describing is a self-join. You can try to implement it with a query similar to

SELECT,, c.category_name, c.products
FROM products AS p
JOIN products_category AS pc ON p.product_id = pc.product_id
JOIN categories AS c ON = pc.category_id
WHERE c.category_name = ‘category_name’

EF is ok with self-joins if it knows about the PK. Try out the following mapping:

.HasOne(a => a.Category)
.WithMany(b => b.Products)
.HasForeignKey(c => c.CategoryId);

The above is what EF needs to know about the relationship. The rest, the cascading delete, should be automatic.
